Gearbox Counterweights

I think this is what counterweights the pulley… Not 100% on that, but it sounds good. Anyhow, today’s update. BTW… these are just dirt passes and for some strange reason, probably how I have the shader set up, it reminds me of TF2. Maybe?

Not much of a post. Put in about an hour on this tonight. Made some standoffs for the pulleys.

Update

So I decided to scrap the gearbox I had and go with a box with more detail. I just figured on using mid-range shots and never get very tight on anything. However, the more I think about how i want to frame the scene, it might be good have a couple of tight establishing shots. In this case, I would like to have more texture and detail in the actual models. The gearbox is a good example of where this would be true.
